Just the US and Caribbean, which is a shame, because, being a specialist site, it would have been nice to have had more of a global vision for their niche.

How easy is it to navigate around the site? We tried and tested it out and graded..

There is a search tool to help you identify your needs. We felt that this would have benefited from additional filters to make it more effective.

Overall, this site is quite basic and doesn’t have the extras that many others do.

Whilst the idea of a niche market is noteworthy the poor presentation and organization of this site dampen down any excitement we may have initially felt.There are some vacation package deals here.

The idea may be cool but these guys fail to execute it well.  A severe case of ‘could do better’.

Are there online discounts and deals here? Does the site offer savings for returning customers? We graded the extra value you can get for your buck..
There is a Hot Deals section for their best golfing vacations but it contains no last minutes or big reduction packages.

How interactive is this site? Is there a Facebook Group? Twitter? RSS feeds? Linked In? Forum? We found out..

Some nice social options like a newsletter and blog alongside Facebook and Twitter.

There is ‘My Golf Zoo’ which includes a forum, videos, chat and groups.  This would all be great but it is seldom used and needs to be better promoted.  Perhaps part of the problem is the navigation, which lists this function under ‘Trip Tools’.  The titling, ‘My Golf Zoo’ is also unclear and conceals the function from those browsing the home page.

Some great vision and ideas but golftours.com need to come back down to earth and turn this feature into a thriving hub with customer uploads and chat.

There are local golf travel experts on hand if you need to call them for advice or to find out about current deals.  There are also email, postal address and fax as contact points.

Help in finding what you want. With so many packages to choose from, how does the site help you pick what is right for you? Are there any site favorites or recommendations?.

The tools on the site are very basic.  We also disliked the fact that you need to register before you receive any quotes.

On the whole it took longer to get inspired on this site than it did on others.
