How easy is it to navigate around the site? We tried and tested it out and graded..

Some good navigation tools here; you can search the online vacation packages by destination to find deals in specific regions. Tour information was provided in a four tab sheet which listed a range of holiday information with categories such as’ itinerary’ and ‘accommodation’.

This site impressed us because it not only considered how to locate information but also put effort into presenting it in a clear and attractive way.

There is a current promotions tab on the main menu and you can also search the site by ‘best deals’. These guys are so confident of their offers that they provide a low price guarantee on their tours.

We liked the use of video, social networks and message boards on this site. They had great vacation ideas. Out of all of our top sites this one made the best use of multi media.

We also liked the travel articles at Affordable Tours as well as advanced search features such as the ability to filter by travel theme (religious, adventure, family, historic) as well as  travel ideas (beaches, tours, cruises) all of which gave it the edge over many others.

You can request quotes for individual trips which are emailed out direct. Trips are then purchased outside of this site. This didn’t compare well to other sites that offered online booking.
