Making a booking online How easy is it to make a booking online or to amend an existing booking. How flexible are the search options? .

Wake Up It's 2010

Quotes can be obtained from a variety of sites but these are not provided instantly as on other sites. Instead you need to register with the site first and await an email. You then need to phone or email the resort you wish to book at.

Compared to the immediacy of other sites, this method seems slow and out-dated. Wake up guys it’s 2010!

Quality and quantity of images Are there enough images on the site to whet your appetite and are they of a decent quality? Are the photos too small? Do they give me a good idea of the resort inside and out?.

How easy is it to navigate around the site? We tried and tested it out and graded..

The site contains information on resort amenities and links in to TripAdvisor reviews. The information provided is OK but could be far better presented. This site generally lacks the ‘X’ Factor. It covers all the basics but simply doesn’t shine.

Help in finding what you want. With so many resorts to choose from, how does the site help you pick what is right for you? Are there any site favorites or recommendations? Does it offer any interesting activities?.

Each resort has photos of the location and accommodation, but these did not dazzle as much as other sites.

Are there online discounts and deals here? Does the site offer savings for returning customers? We graded the extra value you can get for your buck..

There is a Resort Specials tab with information on deals listed by hotel brand, country and category. Whilst this is great, there is still the problem of the need to register, await emails and then book yourself. All a bit long winded. .. and what about those last minute deals – shouldn’t we be speeding ahead to catch the best offers?
