The reservation process is swift and painless culminating in payment by a number of options. Reservations can be viewed and managed online.

Quality and quantity of images Are there enough images on the site to whet your appetite and are they of a decent quality? Are the photos too small? Do they give me a good idea of the resort inside and out?.

The navigation works well enough although we feel the top menu could benefit from sub menus.

In addition the search tool lacks the sophistication of those on other sites. For example, we were not given the option to search by local or hotel amenities.

Help in finding what you want. With so many resorts to choose from, how does the site help you pick what is right for you? Are there any site favorites or recommendations? Does it offer any interesting activities?.

There is a good assortment of high quality photos on each of the vacationresorts, including amenities.

Are there online discounts and deals here? Does the site offer savings for returning customers? We graded the extra value you can get for your buck..

The current offer is a discount on two night European stay within a set period. There is no Special Offers section to capture the deals across the site, instead each hotel provides a selection of rates including promos and best offer rates.

They guarantee ‘the cheapest publicly available rate on the net’.

However, those who don’t care where they stay have no way to find the best deals across the Intercontinental site.

How interactive is this site? Is there a Facebook Group? Twitter? RSS feeds? Linked In? Forum? We found out..

There is a blog with an RSS feed and although it had regular weekly entries in the past, there had been no fresh entries for 6 weeks at the point of our visit. The site does not link in to any networks.
