Goski aims to provide up to date information on resorts across the world. We took a peek at their site to find out the latest news from international ski resorts.

GoSki covers US and Canadian ski resorts as well as a range of international resorts including lesser known spots such as Japan, India, Israel and Iran.

How easy is it to navigate around the site? We tried and tested it out and graded..

The site is well structured and the navigation generally works well, although it does have a few quirks.  The top menu loads very slowly, initially appearing cramped together, then separating out but not displaying any sub menus.  After yet more time, the sub menus are finally unleashed.

Some of these top menu categories contain sub menus but others don’t.  The US and Worldwide resorts categories would both benefit from a visible sub menu.

Customers need to be able to access the information they need in the minimum number of clicks.  This site needs some tweaking here and there to get it up to scratch.

Here we look at the quality of the ski and winter sports information on the site. Are there good quality articles on skiing? Are there cool ski or snowboard photos? We grade..

Resort information includes conditions and facilities for a vacation.  There are also ratings and reviews of ski equipment and services, as well as resorts.

Goski.com does however, lack wider articles giving hints and tips or discussing wider topics.

What maps are on offer? Can you view maps of your planned destination and are they accurate and detailed?.
There are Google maps of each country, showing the location of local ski resorts. It does however lack trail and town maps.

What else can I do here? We gave extra points to sites with video, audio, blogs, mobile, forums, podcasts and chat..
The site contains photos, web cam pictures and videos. The videos section is very sparse but we like the fact that Goski has at least embraced some multimedia options on their site.

Are there online discounts and deals here? Does the site offer savings for returning customers? We graded the extra value you can get for your buck..
There are no ‘home grown’ deals here.  The site links in to Orbitz and Snow-Pak for all ski vacation deals.
